# Firenze of Papier Mâché — full description

The atelier of Firenze of Papier Mâché creates handmade papier-mâché art in Florence
(Borgo San Lorenzo, Italy). Founded by Bijan in the early 1980s, it is one of the
long-standing workshops of Florentine papier-mâché tradition. Products are made
entirely by hand: paper strips, glue, patience, then painted and finished with
techniques such as gold and silver leaf.

- Commedia dell'Arte masks (Arlecchino, Pantalone, Brighella and other characters)
- Animal masks (owl, wolf, sheep and more)
- Visetti: small handmade masks, unique pieces
- Bas-reliefs: fragments of Michelangelo's David, Leonardo's Vitruvian Man, portraits
  of Leonardo and Michelangelo, women, celestial maps (cosmo), the "Mare Mosso"
